'Escape Rooms Durham' is a small, independent company owned & operated by Grim Up North LTD.
We are not part of a large franchise meaning you will not find our games anywhere else!
Our games are completely original, and you wont find our puzzles anywhere else. We also feature the UK's only Escape game inside a real 600 year old castle!
All our staff come from either a theatrical or a gaming background, so you are sure to not only have a challenging game, but an immersive and thrilling experience.
Our staff have worked in immersive theatre, west end musicals, regional critically acclaimed plays & concerts as well as creating and operating live action role play gaming.

Escape Rooms Durham is in the heart of the medieval market city of Durham, North East England, with our latest game also taking up residence in a 600 year old castle!
You and your team of up to six people will be locked in a room. You have one hour to solve the puzzles and find a way to escape. Think of a cross between 'The Crystal Maze' & 'Cluedo'!
Our games can be played in groups of 2-6 players!
